How Sub-Saharan Africa Can Achieve Food Security

Dr. Woldezion Mesghinna is the President and Principal Engineer of NRCE, a consulting engineering firm based in Fort Collins, Colorado. Due to his origins in Eritrea, personal passions, and decades of experience, Dr. Mesghinna has published a book addressing the development of sustainable food security in Sub-Saharan Africa titled, How Sub-Saharan Africa Can Achieve Food Security.

In his book, Dr. Mesghinna presents an innovative and comprehensive guide of science and engineering-based principles that, when put into practice, substantially increase food production, reduce poverty, and foster multi-sector economic growth critical to the region's eventual ascension to industrialization.
